About Us
Gladstone Construction Inc. is a family owned and operated company, located in Clearwater, Florida. GCI has been in the construction industry for over 25 years, starting as licensed contractors in Virginia, and now licensed and serving the state of Florida since 1995. Owner and operator Mike Gladstone, a 20 year Marine Corp. Veteran, was first introduced to the countertop industry through his contracting business, when he brought laminate countertop fabrication in-house. Now, as a Master Fabricator for numerous surfacing materials, Mike's only focus is the countertop business, and has now been in the specialty countertop industry for over 13 years.
Debra Gladstone joined the business in December 2002 leaving a 20-year career first as a CPA and then in corporate finance. Debra - "We were on a mission to grow the business." Since 2002, GCI has moved from a 2,000 sq. ft. warehouse to an 8,500 sq. ft. warehouse and tripled its distribution and sales. The growth strategy envisioned is to gain the strength of "critical mass", but to carry and sustain the business without losing site of its original "mom and pop" service philosophy.
We measure our success from the lasting relationships we have built with our customers, vendors and employees. We will always be personally involved in your project, from material selection to design to installation. The countertop choices available today can be over whelming.
